Columbia Canopy at Grove Park, Atlanta, GA

“Columbia Residential is partnering with Grove Park Foundation to build one of the first multi-family properties in the community in decades! The project consists of the new construction of four three- and four-story apartment buildings, comprised of 110 units to be situated on a 7.861-acre site. The site improvements include stormwat er management, 136 parking spaces, paving, sidewalks, lighting, and extensive landscaping.

CRESG provided Construction Monitoring and Reporting Services to Truist Bank through Building Consultants.

CRESG arrived at the Project Site during December well into the Project Schedule to find the Project completely stalled and blanketed with a layer of thick mud due to wet weather and numerous disagreements. CRESG assisted by bringing all parties to the reality of a Project in deep trouble. To the credit of the parties involved, they rose to the occasion; the contractor brought in crane mats to serve as temporary roads so the M.E.P. underslab rough-in work could begin. Momentum increased and the Project was successfully completed and occupied.
