Description

:

The garden building consisted of 7 floors of parking, covered by 2 – 50K SF floors of Class A office space, topped by an elevated park including trees and grass. The limited
remedial waterproofing project undertaken in 1995-1998, eventually failed. Water from the park leaked down and into the office spaces. CRESG served as the project manager for the design of the new rooftop, waterproofing, and construction of the remedial work.

This was the 2nd and 3rd Sequels to “Almost Impossible Project”. Demolish an existing 50K SF Landscape (Park with big trees, lawns, walls and fountains) and Hardscape (Park) above a high $ Class “A” Office Space without losing Rent, Tenants or a Your Contract Job. Rain be became feared; every time it Rained there were multiple irate phone calls from people who were mad as _____ at the dirty water pouring into their new office space.
